ZDGO Swiss Championships 2023

The 2023 Swiss Championships will be organized by the Voodoo Warriors as a PDGA XB tier on the permanent course in Zurich's Hardhof. Registration takes place via Discgolfscene according to division and rating in 3 stages.

The Swiss Disc Golf Championships 2023 will be held as a sanctioned as a PDGA-XB tier. The latest rules PDGA apply. 3 rounds of 18 holes will be played (shotgun start). The top 8 players in MPO and MP40 and the top 4 players in all other divisions play a final round of 9 holes. A sudden death playoff will be used to determine the medal positions.


Registration is based on division and PDGA rating in 3 stages. Registration is via discgolfscene. The player fee is CHF 25 for juniors and CHF 45 for all other divisions.

A valid SDA annual license, PDGA license are required to participate, and CH citizenship is required. The same citizenship rights are granted to foreigners, who have resided in Switzerland for at least 3 years, of which the last 2 years have been uninterrupted.

Wild Cards

All clubs receive a wild card for free allocation. There are no rating restrictions for these wildcards. Club wildcards must be redeemed before the end of the second stage, after which they are passed on to players on the waiting list. Wildcards must be per communicated per e-mail until May 14th, 2023.

Disc Golf Village

As with the ZDGO 2022, there is again the popular Disc Golf Village with a view of holes 16, 17 and 18! At Disc Golf Village you will find:

  • The TD Office and Players Meeting

  • The disc golf stands from our sponsors

  • Suddellnuppe lunch between rounds on Saturday and Sunday

  • The putting contest on Saturday evening

  • The party with DJ on Saturday evening

  • A relaxed place to hang out and have a beer

  • 7:00 - 8:00: Mandatory check-in

  • 8:00: Players meeting

  • 9:00: Shotgun start 1st round

  • approx. 12:30 - 13:30: Lunch at Disc Golf Village

  • approx. 2:00 p.m.: Shotgun start 2nd round (grouping by category and score)

  • approx. 6:00 p.m.: Putting contest at the Disc Golf Village (2 CHF entry)

  • approx. 19:00 - 21:00: Party

Sunday, 07/16/2023

  • 9:00: Shotgun start 3rd round (grouping by category and score)

  • approx. 12:30 - 13:30: Lunch at Disc Golf Village

  • approx. 2:00 p.m.: Start of final 9

  • approx. 4 p.m.: award ceremony


Hardhof is a public park. Please be considerate of pedestrians and all park visitors and make sure that before each shot that the entire fairway is clear and nobody can be hit.

The toilets and changing rooms at the park center are available for use from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The changing rooms have lockers that require a padlock.


Hardhof is easily accessible by public transport via tram lines 13 and 17 from Zurich main station (Sihlquai/HB stop). The closest parking option when arriving by car is at the car park under the Europabrücke.
